A Princess Party for MY Princess

So this weekend was my daughter’s second birthday. She is obsessed with Barbie and Princesses and pink so we did a princess extravaganza. My dining room became a simple palace using streamers, balloons and Scene Setters of Belle (bought at a party store). My mother-in-law went all out on the Barbie princess cake and we had a little bowl of crowns for all the guests. It was very simple (just for family) but she had a blast putting on her party dress, crown and even painting her nails. She was the belle of our little ball and a gracious little host. Enjoy the pictures…

ps. She got some great gifts that I highly recommend. First of all the Fisher Price My First Doll House is the perfect size for her little hands without being too babyish. They already played Super-mom and Super-dad together. Secondly, my mother sent her a treasure chest full of dress up clothes. There are a bunch of different skirts, tops and accessories. This is perfect for imaginative kids who love to get all dolled up. (I will find out where it is from and post it as soon as I do). Thanks moms for the great gifts.
