Movie ofthe Week: Horton Hears a Who

Like I said, this is combined with the book selection for this week. Now I know that this movie is still in theaters…but why not spend a family day out of the house as well.

I saw this movie recently with my two kids and they both sat enthralled. My only regret is not having read them the story before hand. It was a little hard to follow all the whimsical chracters without having heard them before.

This movie was fun for the whole family. The characters are lovable and the animation is a joy to watch. So take the whole family and check it out.

For another fun Dr. Seuss classic check out “The Cat and the Hat” movie. This movie is geared towards slightly older children but still fun to watch a classic story come to life.
