Movie of the Week: Holes
This weeks movie is for young and old alike (kids in the middle will especially like the story).
“Holes” is a movie starring a young Shia LaBeouf (from “Transformers” and “Alvin and the Chipmunks”) as Stanley, a boy with nothing but bad luck stemming from an old family curse. He is arrested for a crime he did not commit and is sent to “camp” where he and his camp mates must dig a hole a day to keep away the warden. They have no idea why they are there or why these holes are so important but they build quick friendships and together unearth the secret behind this strange punishment.
This movie teaches friendship and teamwork. It is filled with humor that the whole family will enjoy. I loved this movie and sp did all my siblings (and we have a big age range). I hope you all enjoy it as well.
